Look What I Made: Multicoloured Ripple Blanket

I finished this blanket back in March so it’s long overdue for its ta-dah post.

The yarn is mostly Stylecraft Special Double Knit and two shades of Panda Magnum Soft 8ply. It measures approximately 100cm x 96cm and is quite warm and snuggly. The pattern is by the wonderful Lucy of Attic 24. Pop on over to Attic 24 to see Lucy’s current ripple blanket in the same pattern, it’s gorgeous.

To make the same rows of interlocking colour just follow this pattern. I used colours in a random order, trying to make sure to not place two colours together more than once.

Row 1 – Colour A
Row 2 – Colour B
Row 3 – Colour B
Row 4 – Colour C
Row 5 – Colour B
Row 6 - Colour C
Row 7 – Colour C
Row 8 – Colour D
Row 9 – Colour C
Row 10 – Colour D
Row 11 – Colour D
Row 12 – Colour E
Row 12 – Colour D…

Above is a sneak peek at a small granny square project I started a month or so ago. The small granny squares are more time-consuming than they look! I’m joining as I go on that one.

I’m quite taken by the colours in my ripply blanket, is it too crazy for you? What are you making?
