Finished blanket 22 was made for Kimberly and Stewart who had a beautiful wedding back in May. The pattern is one of my favourites, Neat Ripple by Lucy from Attic24. Each ripple is almost a full skein of yarn; all besides the pale grey and purple are Panda Magnum Soft 8ply. I started the blanket in January and it ended up roughly 150cm x 150cm.
Congratulations to the happy couple, and thank you for inviting us to share your special day!
That is so pretty! What size hook did you use, and what was your chain count?
Thanks Kris,
I used a 5mm hook but I’m not sure on the chain count. One “ripple is made up of 14 chains, so at a guess I’d say 168 or so. But that’s a rough guess!

What a beautiful gift – very special – I love the design and colours – lucky couple!
Thank you Jane!

Beautiful blanket! I think I’m going to try this pattern when I finish the blanket I just started. What size crochet hook do you usually use?
And, just realized this was asked and answered already! Sorry! 🙂
No worries Mallory! Most often I use 4mm but 5mm does crochet up a little quicker!
