KitchenAid Goes Pink

I wouldn’t trade my beautiful Empire Red KitchenAid for anything*, but isn’t this pink version just so pretty? And better still, a portion from each sale goes to the Breast Cancer Network Australia. It’s Breast Cancer Awareness month so get your pink on.

And ladies, get checked out. By a doctor, or yourself. Early detection is the key!

*My Empire Red KitchenAid mixer was a present for my 30th birthday from so many of the special people in my life. I’ll always be thankful for it and can’t imagine baking without it.

Remember when throwing a spontaneous party was a breeze? Your whole guest list always turned up, and on time. The tea was never too hot or too cold, and the treats were always baked to perfection. Everyone had a blast and were only too happy to repeat the shenanigans the next day.

Of course, back then the guest list consisted of Teddy and Dolly, the tea and treats were imaginary and the party only ever lasted as long as you were still having fun. These wooden toy sets are just too cute, and just right for a tea party with a little one and her closest buddies (of the stuffed variety). I have my eye on the mixer set. And the breakfast set with milk and eggs. If only I had an excuse to buy one!

Check out the range that goes on sale at Aldi June 20, 2012.

How cute are these pendants? A tiny whisk or baking tray, perfect for a baker.

I spotted a light blue set of bakeware on sale recently, that pale blue shade that cookbook author and stylist Donna Hay likes so much. Any of these pieces would add some subtle colour to a white kitchen. I love the Eat Drink Be Merry print, if only I had room in my kitchen for a little artwork.

1. Royal Doulton Gordon Ramsay Blue Maze Bakeware Set 7pce $129 (also available in white)
2. Retro Kitchen – Colander Iceberg Blue $17
3. English Rose Coasters Set of 4 $12.95
4. Doily Picnic Cutlery Set $9.95
5. Blue Polka Dot Frying Pan $15.95
6. Eat Drink Be Merry modern kitchen art fork by GraphicAnthology $24
7. KitchenAid Artisan KSM150 Mixer Ice $689
8. Robert Gordon Le Petite Gateau Baking Cups Spotty Blue $3.50
