Mix smooth peanut butter (softened, about 1/4 cup) with icing sugar (sifted, about 1/4 cup). Chill mixture, then shape into egg or ball shapes (about 8). Insert lollipop sticks into peanut butter eggs, chill again. Dip eggs into melted chocolate and chill until set. Then enjoy!

This time I used a recipe from Super Food Ideas magazine. They didn’t quite taste like real hot cross buns though – maybe it was the lack of cinnamon. Looking for another recipe to try!
Yes, I’m a little early for Easter – call it practice! They turned out ok, but I’ll try a different recipe next. Also had trouble making the crosses on top. The recipe was from Donna Hay.
