What is the best stuffing for a pouf?
Your pouf can be filled with almost anything you have in hands: polyester balls, plastic grocery bags, towels/sheets, or old clothing. Polyester fiber can easily be found in most fabric stores. What do you stuff outdoor pouf with?
Outdoor poufs are filled with a variety of materials, and some arrive unfilled so you can choose your own stuffing. Polyester beans are a popular choice, as they keep the pouf lightweight and flexible. Polyester filling, the same that is used in pillows, is soft and cozy but may compress or become lumpy after a while.
How much fill do you need for a pouf?
You would need 8-10pounds of filling per pouf. We also recommend stuffing with clean/dry old clothing, blankets, sheets… 2 of 2 found this helpful.

Are poufs worth it?
Floor pillows and poufs are a great way to add color, texture, and additional seating when guests come over. But, as stylish and beautiful as they may be, if they’re not that perfect mix of cushy and firm — you don’t want them to totally lose their shape and give zero support, after all! — they’re not really worth it.
