How do you make beads melt?

- Arrange beads in non-stick pan.
- Put in 400 degree oven for 20 minutes (I checked every five to be safe).
- Once removed from oven, allow to cool in pan.
Is it safe to melt beads in oven?
Plastic beads at room temperature are round, with a hole in the middle, but if we put them into an oven – where the temperature is much higher – they melt into a liquid plastic. Liquids take the shape of their container so your heated round beads can now be formed into a new shape!
Is ironing paper the same as parchment paper?

Can I use aluminum foil to iron Perler beads? Spray a light coating of vegetable oil on the inside of the aluminum foil dish. Place the Perler beads in the foil dish, and arrange them in the desired configuration. When it’s still warm but no longer hot, carefully remove the foil backing to reveal your bead creation.
What temperature do plastic beads melt?
Ideally, you want to use pony beads , because those have a standard melting temperature (around 400 degrees), but with our mixed assortment, the kids used only mostly pony beads, with others included as they struck their fancy.
Can you melt Perler beads with a hair dryer?
Apart from drying your hair, you can use your electric hair-dryer to melt your Perler beads. Just place parchment paper over your creation before heating it. You’ll then need to flip it over to the other side once the pellets have melted.

Holed plastic cylinder beads are the best type of beads to use when making bowls. Plastic cylinder beads melt when heat is applied and are a uniform size, so they will melt at the same time.
